Description
Atomic Bomb, 8"x10" photograph of the "Enola Gay" landing on Tinian after completing the mission to Hiroshima, boldly autographed statement by the Enola Gay Navigator, "Dutch" Van Kirk, Dutch Van Kirk, (1921-2016) " the first atomic bomb was dropped from 30,600 feet. It exploded43 seconds later, about 1800 feet above the ground. The city of Hiroshima was devistated but millions of lives , both Japanese and allied were saved. The war soon ended and the killing stopped" signed, Dutch Van Kirk-Navigator -Enola Gay -Hiroshima 6 Aug. 1945.
