Henry Busse Sr. (1894 – 1955) was a German-born jazz trumpeter. Lead trumpet player for Paul Whiteman in the 1920’s. Briefly played with Bix Beiderbecke when Whiteman employed both in the mid-late 1920’s. Busse led the big band during the Swing Era of 1930’s-1940’s. Signed 8 x 10 in. black and white photo.
