Polyptych representing the progression of changing of light on Uluru ( Ayres Rock , Australia ) in the last half hour of daylight. Panel 3 shows the dramatic momentary lighting up of the rock after sundown when sunlight reflects off the clouds from below the horizon. Panel 4 shows the rock in complete darkness, with only the textures of mixed media technique defining the shapes and forms of the landscape.
