Description
Length of cutting edge: 19.1/2 in. (49.5 cm.) long. A beautiful civilian Samurai sword in nice polish, no flaws, a couple of tiny rust spots, hard to photograph, wavy temper line throughout, Nanban Tsuba, beautiful dragon Monuke, dragon Fuchi and Kasira. Ray skin handle, original, nice silver over copper Habaki, beautiful lacquer scabbard and Saya, a 3/4 in. lacquer loss, see photo. Overall a beautiful sword, nice example of an 18th century civilian Samurai sword. Tang is unsigned, original. Hand forged traditionally. Stand is only for display, not included.

No flaws, a couple of tiny rust spots, hard to photograph, a 3/4 in. lacquer loss to the scabbard, see photo.
