British Furniture 1880 -1915 p. 104 for an example by Simpson, Kendal.Note: This Studio armchair and its near pair with the initials HIP inlaid in ebony on the back, is close to a design by Arthur Simpson, exhibited in the 1896 Arts and Crafts Exhibition.
