Condition
There is extensive old overpainting that has discoloured with age and is flaking in places (especially to the interior).
The handle was cleanly broken off in one piece and is restuck, with extensive overpainting to the base (below the female figure), and at the join to the rim.
The foot is restuck to the ewer, and was probably broken in two (covered with old overpainting).
There are two parallel cracks to one side (beginning 3cm apart at the rim), that run down and appear to converge in a V-shape. One crack extends probably to the base of the ewer; both interior and exterior of that side are covered with extensive old overpainting, so it isn't possible to see if a piece was restuck, or if they are just overpainted cracks.
There is a restored rim chip to one side of the spout.
There is some faint crazing to the glaze surface overall.
