Condition
One of the paw feet is broken off. There are small spots of wear to the gilding on the toes of all the paw feet, and to the breasts and faces of the sphinxes.
There is some rubbing to the gilding on the tops of the handles, and one small flat chip to one handle.
The gilt borders (and red bole beneath) around the rim are worn and flaking in places.
There are several small flat chips around the top and inside edges of the rims, and one larger flat chip (2.5cm) to the inside edge of one rim.
There is some discolouration overall to the insides.
Otherwise generally in good condition.
