This lovely card features Bogart and Gladys George as Iva Archer.

A tear in the right border extends into the border art. Crimping in the lower right edge. General edge and corner wear. The interior image is very nice. There is brown paper tape around the edges of the verso.

John Huston's classic film noir is an adaptation of the famous detective novel by Dashiell Hammett. Huston, an established screenwriter, made his directorial debut with The Maltese Falcon. The movie stars Humphrey Bogart as Sam Spade, a cynical private investigator from San Francisco. Although he occasionally resorts to unscrupulous methods, he is also guided by a strict code of ethics. Spade's character earned Bogart his place as a Hollywood legend.
