Directed by Mel Brooks, who co-wrote with star Gene Wilder, this peak-Brooks film affectionately parodies classic horror movies, with Wilder playing the grandson of Victor Frankenstein ("it's pronounced Fronkensteen!"), who travels to Transylvania and picks up his grandfather's experiments.
