Complete with integral address-leaf and wax seal. The delegates inform Captain Jones that he has been given a credit with Messrs Baring, Brothers & Co. of London "for a sum not exceeding One thousand pounds Sterling. You may therefore negotiate your Bills on them...& we rely on your judgement & economy, that no expenses will be incurred, but such as are necessary for the support of the Crew, and for the safety of the Ship under your command..."
