Three volumes contain Gil Blas, with 12 original etchings by R. de Los Rios, frontispiece, translated by Tobias Smollett, with a biographical introduction by George Saintsbury. The remaining three volumes contain Asmodeus, or the Devil Upon Two Sticks; The History of Vanillo Gonzales Surnamed the Merry Bachelor; and The Bachelor of Salamanca, each with four etchings by R. de Los Rios. All volumes number 26 of 100 copies. Slight edge wear, rubbing to hinges.
