Description
Two separate Bev Dolittle prints: 1) Sacred Circle by Bev Doolittle, a fine-art lithograph released in 1991 with 40,192 signed and consecutively numbered prints. To Native Americans, the circle was a sacred symbol, and our natural environment may also be viewed as a circle of dependent and interconnected natural elements. This print is #24,131. Page measures 26 x 26-1/2 inches, and the image is 23 x 23 inches. 2) Prayer for the Wild Things -- a collaboration between watercolor artist Bev Doolittle and musician Paul Winter. The prints are fine-art, limited-edition lithographs released in 1993 with 65,000 signed and consecutively numbered pieces. Prayer for the Wild Things is Paul Winter's thirty-second album (but not included in this lot). Bev Doolittle invited Winter to collaborate with her, and according to Doolittle, it is their attempt to surround the viewer with an emotional, visual, and musical message concerning our place in the natural world and our connection to all things wild. In pristine condition with included inserts. This is print #49,670 of 65,000. Page measures 24 x 31-1/2 inches, and the image is 21 x 28 inches.
