This beaded holster is tanned elk hide, hand stitched. The beads are large seed beads with the obsolete greasy yellow beads. Light blue, flame red, and greasy yellow beads lazy stitched in the plains style. Some bead loss in the front lower center that could be restored, or left as-is. The beading technique is Native American, non-anglo. The holster has a sewn belt loop on the back, with light black powder residue on the flap. Made in the style of the cavalry flap over revolver design. The slim design lends itself to a select few revolvers and the Colt Texas Paterson is a likely candidate for this holster. 22 in.overall length; 13 in. long with flap closed.
