Late to Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC.
A rare pair of Egyptian eyes. The borders are made of blue glass with an obsidian inlay. They are almond shaped with white inlays and a black pupil. These eyes would have come from a funerary mask or sarcophagus in a Royal burial. For similar see: Archaeological Museum of Florence, Inv. n. 2419 b and 2424.
