Late Predynastic to Early Dynastic Period, Ca. 3100 - 2700 BC.
A globular, bichrome earthenware vessel. The body is decorated throughout with a series of red lines and concentric circles under the rim. The vessel has an undecorated rounded base, a short and vertical rim, and a deep interior cavity. A finely-crafted example from this very early period. For similar see: British Museum number EA35330.
