New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC.
An Egyptian green faience with hieroglyphics decorated on both sides. Side A has two registers of script, with side B depicting a winged scaraboid set in a gold frame connected to a 18 ct gold ring, possibly later. This piece has undergone X-ray fluorescence analysis to confirm the metallurgical content suggesting its ancient origin and lack of modern trace elements.

Provenance: Property of a London gallery; previously in a collection of a North London gentleman; formerly in a collection of Mrs B.
