Description
New Kingdom, 20th Dynasty, Ca. 1184 - 1153 BC.
A collection of seven faience rosette inlays. Decorations range from a rosette, set with eight petals around the yellow pistil, to other rosette having creamy petals on a brown X design background with a yellow central boss. Such items were found in great numbers at the Delta site of Tell el-Yahudiya where a small palace of Ramesses III was discovered. For similar see, Florence Dunn Friedman, ed.
