Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC.
A papyrus column amulet, known as Wadj sceptre, made of light blue glazed faience with a suspension hole. This amulet represents a rolled papyrus scroll and was used for protection, granting the deceased eternal youth in the afterlife. For similar see: Cf. Andrews, C., 1994. Amulets of Ancient Egypt.
