A fragment of a Roman blue glass cage cup with moulded decoration and incredible iridescence. It most likely depicts a ceiling and a column with arches. Glass vases of this kind were the ultimate expression of Roman glass art and were highly prized products created for the social elite. For similar see: MET Museum Accession Number: 26.60.95.
