A late medieval British brass bell decorated with low relief on two registers. The lower and main one is adorned with biblical scenes, while the upper part is designed with floral motif. The registers are divided by an inscription " MARCUS + ST. MATHEVS / JOHANNES + ST. LUCAS.

Provenance: From the private collection of an Essex gentleman; previously in an old British Collection, formed in the 1980s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
