unusual circular box for candied almonds, Romantic period from the early 19th century, on three levels are presented four erotic scenes, two of it are color lithographies and two are paintings, that are working with a sand mechanism, the first one that is visible is animated, it is an engravings from the publication DIABLERIE 1832, overlaid, by Eugène Modeste Edouard LE POITEVIN, "Eine Dame schaut in eine optische Box", the showman is the devil, the lady sees instead of a engraving the genital of the devil, it is moving,by moving the box sideways, separation of the both parts of the box in the middle course down below, the first scene is also vivid and very cheeky, a second part of the box with two engravings "Die peinliche Wahl" "Eine Sache in Eile", this extreme rare object is in very good condition, it is the only one, that is private and also known in private collections, box with a diameter of: 10.5 cm, height: 6 cm
