Galactic Patrol Lensman was a Japanese anime television series based on the Lensman novels by E. E. "Doc" Smith. The Japanese animation was a 25-episode series that aired from October 6, 1984 to August 8, 1985. We note that the Britannia II was the animation battle cruiser that had a clean angular design, and was lacking the bristling armory usually associated with Japanese spacecraft of this era. This toy has pop up and opening hatches for armaments and missile firing toy goodness.
