Description
Canadian. 1930s. Lithographed tin. The Tolton family emigrated from England to Guelph in 1830. While they found their footing in agriculture, true riches were found in the innovation of farm implements and machinery as shown in this match holder depicting a chauffeur-driven touring car. 5.5" x 4" x 3.5". From the Jon Church Collection.
Condition
Good overall condition. The lithographed surface is very good with light soil and edge wear. Some separation at the perforated edges. The tin frame is loose.
