Description
American. 1890s. Painted wood and wrought iron.. Goat wagons were made for farm utility, as well as entertainment for children. This Whitewater goat wagon was distributed by Montgomery Wards catalogue starting in the late 1800's to rival Harvard (sold by Sears). Whitewater wagons were ordered to specifications for government orders. When Queen Victoria ordered the boundary commission to establish the border with Canada and the United States, she specifically requested the six that were used were whitewater wagons. Marked, "Whitewater", side panels. Box: 7" x 40" x 18". Whole thing: 26.25" x 26" x 46". Wheel diameter: 14" and 20".

All original surface. There are some surface scratches and paint loss. Great colours.
