Canadian. 1910s. Mahogany with brass hardware. Features detailed solid brass hardware and a mixed wood parquet floor. The mechanics and design are similar to the entrances of the CPR hotels. A possibly one-of-a-kind scale model to show how the hotel entrance would be made. Marked, in pencil on the inside- indicate it was built as a 1/4 scale. 40.25" x 33" x 28". Purchased from Claude Gauthier "The Oak Man" in the 1990's.

Very good condition. Minor repairs to case. There have been some screws replaced with newer types, which could be changed back to brass. One larger piece of veneer missing on top left corner of one doorway. Doors will turn but do not move easily.
