An early 20th century French silver cigarette case combination vesta and lighter, Paris dated 1910 by F. Botin for Tonnel
For the Russian market. Of rectangular form with reeded design, the hinged lid raised by a simple gold thumpiece with a sapphire cabochon. The lid set with unmarked gold helm encircling initals 'MΠΚ' , another oval plaque with initials 'EAT' and the Russian imperial eagle. Hinged matches compartment. Gilt interior with inscription in Russian ' Remember the 19 /09/1910 in Paris. Lelya'. French assay mark.
