This lot contains a vintage Japanese musical jewelry box. The jewelry box is made of wood lacquer. The box depicts various scenes of Mt. Fuji, boats on the water, birds flying over landscapes and a Japanese tea house. The interior is lined with a pink cloth and has three separate compartments for storage. Made in Japan. It is approx 7 1/4" x 4 3/4" x 4" and weighs about 1.4lbs. Overall the box is in average used condition with some clear signs of aging and wear from use over time. The music doll is missing but the song still plays. The key is missing as well. There are a few scrapes and chips in the lacquer. There appears to be signs of a repair on the underneath of the box.
