[MORALS, MYTHS, & RELIGION]. A group of approximately 47 prints, most engraved, featuring moralizing, mythologizing, and religious scenes, including:
1) BEHAM, Hans Sebald (1500-1550). The Prodigal Son Tending the Swine. Engraving on paper, n.d.
2) LARMESSIN, Nicolas, the Younger after Jean-Antoine WATTEAU. The Island of Cythera. Colored mezzotint on paper, ca 18th century.
3) SVABINSKY, Max. Cruxifixion Stabat Mater. Lithograph on paper, 1958.
Together, approximately 47 prints, primarily engraved, various dates spanning approximately ca 1600s-1900s, visible area 21 1/2 x 22 3/4-in. or smaller. Condition varies but is generally good (a few sheets with some toning and soiling, many with chipping to edges or short tears). Several matted, 7 framed with most matted (unexamined out of frame).
