Visible, Les Breuleux - A 9ct gold wristwatch, circa 1945, circular cream-coloured dial with black Arabic numerals, blued hands and subsidiary seconds register at 6H, signed mechanical crown wind movement, cushion shaped case, 31mm wide, interior with casemaker's mark of the Dennison Watch Case Company and Birmingham hallmarks for 9ct gold, fixed wire lugs to a brown strap with pin buckle On 30 March 1922, Arnold Bouverat-Jobin & ses Fils registered the trademark “Visible” in Switzerland with the patent number 51589. One of Bouverat’s four sons migrated to Birmingham and founded George Bouverat & Company. They were appointed the sole British agent for ‘Visible’ and ‘Lorea’ watches, and also sold watches manufactured by the brothers under the name of ‘Bernex’.
