A Victorian silver 3-piece tea set on a silver plated tray, mark of Linley & Hodd (William Linley & Richard Hodd I), London 1870,with additional registry mark dated 3 April 1866, the teapot of oval corrugated form, decorated with bright cut engraving, part marked piano hinged flush fitting cover topped with an oval rosette finial, hollow capped handle with ivory insulators, fluted and decorated spout, the milk jug and two handled sugar bowl, both with gilt washed interiors, to match, 1241.3g (39.9ozt) gross, presented on a circular silver plated gallery tray (4) This item is offered for sale in accordance with the Ivory Act 2018 and has been assigned an exemption certificate Ref No: BVXYERQ5
