Small tankard with the coat of arms of the Prince-Bishop of Bamberg, Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim Fritz Heckert, Petersdorf in Silesia, 19th century. Embellished with a red line pattern. On a slightly bulbous wall, decoration in polychrome enamel painting: crowned coat of arms flanked by two lions, above it in white inscription: ''Bishop of Wuerzburg and Bamberg''. Stylized flower bush on the reverse and inscription with year: ''ANNO 1662''. Gold-plated lip rim. H. 14 cm. Above the portal of St. Jacob's Church in Bamberg is a gigantic rococo coat of arms of the Prince-Bishop of Bamberg, Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim (1757-1779), which is identical to the coat of arms on our tankard.
