A WWII Irvin pattern sheep skin and fleece lined leather flying jacket the main zip and one sleeve zip stamped 'DOT', left sleeve missing zip pull, belt and suspension loop to the collar, the rear with elastic collar strap, the jacket length 80cm (from the top of collar to bottom of jacket) inner sleeve length, 48cm long Condition Report: Missing left sleeve zip pull. Wear to the edge of collar and base of coat. Repair to main zip, and torn zip fabric. Verdigris to the air holes under arms, and loops on the collar. Small hole to back of the neck. No labels - hanging strap stitching gone to one side. Provenance - from vendor's great-uncle. No further info on history. Pit to pit approx. 56cm/ 22in.
