The Galliano gown has V-neckline with draped off-the-shoulder straps and is fitted past the hips continuing into an open skirt, labeled John Galliano Paris, size 40/8. The Harrison de Castenou gown is a ruby-red matte satin with a square neckline and is fitted past the hips continuing into an open skirt, marked size 6. The grape-purple silk gown is cut on the bias with a fitted hourglass silhouette and flared mermaid skirt and train, with no label or size present.

Welch was photographed in both red gowns on red carpets in 1996, the John Galliano gown was worn during the APLA "Commitment To Life" Benefit, on July 18, 1996, at Universal Amphitheater in Universal City, California, and the Harrison de Castenou gown was worn to the Carousel of Hope Ball to Benefit the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes on October 25, 1996, at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
