Fred B. Brian, painter, print maker, teacher, sailor, and fisherman, who lived from 1924-1999. He was an art professor at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL from 1952-1984. Fred spent every summer at his family's cabin on Lake Gogebic in the Ottawa National Forest, which provided much of the inspiration for his work. A great storyteller and humanitarian, he was loved by many!
