Tony Bennet's personal copy of Robert Henri's "The Art Spirit," with numerous underlined passages and notes handwritten by Bennett. The book was Bennett's favorite and most influential volume on art philosophy, and the title was used by Bennett for one of the chapters in, "Tony Bennett: Onstage and In The Studio."

In the book Bennett says, "In my lifetime, it's the best book ever written to capture the true "art spirit." One of the profound lessons I've learned from reading it is that anyone who does anything well...anyone who's dedicated and invests their love and gifts to the task at hand...is an artist. It's not that they paint or that they sing or they dance or that perhaps their work is part of the Smithsonian. That has nothing to do with it. It's anybody who does anything very well and dedicates their life with full integrity about going toward quality. In other words we all have the capacity to do great things."
