Description
A spiral notebook from the Museum of Modern Art, New York with white sketch paper and yellow lined paper - filled with sketches and handwritten notes by Tony Bennett. The notes feature banter for an upcoming concert filled with anecdotes and notations indicating where the jokes should be told in relation to the set list, as well as the lyrics to the song "Why Do People Fall in Love," which Bennett recorded for his 1986 album "The Art of Excellence" (Columbia). The anecdotes include a great story about Frank Sinatra and a joke with Bennett referring to himself as "...the Britney Spears of my day." Together with six loose sheets of handwritten notes (two on New York Pops stationery, one on New York Yankees stationery) that contain a list of songs to potentially sing with Stevie Wonder and a tentative track list for a Christmas album as well as feedback about certain already-recorded tracks.
