Antique 14kt Eastern Star Watch Chain with Carved Onyx Intaglio Fob, 1911. It is 21.5" from end-to-end with a 2" drop that has a carved intaglio soldier onyx fob. This is marked 14kt in several places and tested. Weight is appx. 18.34 gr. It is a solid 2.5mm curb link with an ordnage 14kt gold fob with the intaglio soldier that is appx. 14.5mm by 9mm with a heavy and ornate design and a heavy spring ring. On the clip it is marked 14kt and below the clip is a mounted piece that has a star on top 14kt in the middle and 1911 below that. On the other side of the chain there is the Eastern Star where it is also marked 14kt in the center. The fob is on a short chain ata 2" that connects to an intersection with two 14kt 20" lengths that has the clip end and a spring ring end. this was a great estate find and has typical expected wer for a watch chain but it still very good condition. This is a bit of an historical piece as the Eastern Star was founded in appx 1850 and this was created 61 years later. It's been around a long time and hopefully gets back into the hands of someone who collects these finds. (W10723.2X2 SS12175 J LD 10/12/23).
