A LATE 19TH CENTURY NORWEGIAN SILVER AND ENAMEL VESTA CASE
struck with a maker's mark and stamped NORWAY, import marks, Birmingham 1899, rectangular with rounded corners, decorated front and back with green guilloché enamel within white beaded borders, striker on the underside. 4.7cm by 3.1cm, 1 troy ounce gross
The marks are clear and well-struck on the flange. The cover snaps shut well. The enamel is without losses but has some surface wear. In generally good condition.
