Description
Two New England Ash or Maple Oval Pantry Boxes, One Bela Sprague, Hingham, Massachusetts, 1820-60. The first in blue paint, stamped "B. SPRAGUE" on top of the cover, the cover and bottom each of single finger square-nailed construction; the second in green paint on the exterior and blue on the interior, of two finger square-nailed construction. Sprague box and cover: H: 2.75 in., W: 6.375 in., D: 4.875 in.
