Continental School. Two Paintings on Tin, Mid-Nineteenth Century. The first depicting two young ladies observing and feeding a parrot perched atop its cage; the second an elderly woman being attended by a doctor and his assistant, (9.375 x 7.75 inches, sight). Frame: H: 15.25 in., W: 13.75 in., D: 1.875 in. Provenance: Carrio Malony, Hinsdale, Michigan, April 28, 1964; Jackson and Susan Simpson, purchased at Northeast Auctions, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, 1980's; Kathy Taylor, Arborway, Jamaica Plains, Massachusetts.
