Edme Samson et Cie Table Lamp, in the Style of Chinese Export Armorial Porcelain, Late Nineteenth Century. Painted with the coat-of-arms, motto "CONFIDO" (I Trust), and squirrel supporters, painted in the 'Mandarin palette' with scattered floral sprays within bianco-sopra-bianco borders; electrified. H: 25.5 in. (to top of harp), Diam: 6.625 in. Provenance: Property from the Collection of Cortlandt and Nancy Knowles Parker, Greenvale Farm Estate and Vineyard, Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
