Four Staffordshire Hen and Nest Tureens and Covers, Late Nineteenth Century. Each white biscuit pottery hen resting on green grass and surrounded by eggs, the glazed yellow base in the form of a basket, the interior base of the smallest glazed in green. Largest: H: 8.25 in., W: 10.75 in., D: 8 in. Provenance: Second largest, R.T. Powers, Lutherville, Maryland, October 23, 1981.
