Description
L. & J.G. (Leopold & John George) Stickley Arts & Crafts #819 Oak Rocking Arm Chair, Fayetteville, New York, 1906-1912. The rectangular back with four horizontal splats over straight arms and the original leather seat, raised on rockers joined by a box stretcher, shopmark of clamp and compass red decal printed "L. & J.G. STICKLEY/ HANDCRAFT," inside the front stretcher. H: 35.25 in., W: 25.25 in., D: 28.25 in. Provenance: Property from the Collection of Cortlandt and Nancy Knowles Parker, Greenvale Farm Estate and Vineyard, Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
