20th century Peru studio artisan handcrafted jewelry article. The whimsically designed pendant features a bird with a long bill, snail designed crest to the head, short wings and stout feet with applied green stone accents to the wings, eyes and beak, against a hammered rectangular backing. Suspended from a beaded style chain with a lock and key style closure. Measures approximately 18" in length. Pendant only measures 2 5/8" x 2 1/2". Signed ~ stamped Peru 925. Total weight : 111.3 rams

Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear. Retains its patina. Estate fresh to the market.
