Original Belle Epoque lithograph advertising poster for SAT Margarine, featuring the tagline "A La Saveur Du Beurre" (Tastes Like Butter"). The SAT company operated on the Rue des Halles in Paris (home to the famous Les Halles food market) at the turn of the 20th Century. Few remnants of the company's advertising materials survive, making this an extremely rare poster. Poster bears an artist's monogram in the bottom right-hand corner and the mark of printing firm Devambez in the bottom margin. Presented in a carved gilt wood frame. Dimensions: (Frame) H 23.5" x W 19.5" ; (Sight) H 15" x W 11.5". Condition: Not examined out of frame. Poster with minor creasing. Minor losses to frame.
