This lovely young man sits almost Indian style completely nude. With his left hand he holds a little string, the string is connected to his little pet turtle which he is playing with. He gracefully smiles with love and enjoyment because he has a little companion to keep him happy. He has ear long hair and he wears like a night hat on his head. He sit atop a big rock and a quilt to give him extra comfort as he plays with his little friend. This heavy sculpture is made from solid bronze and was casted using the "Lost Wax Method". It has a brown patina and is mounted atop of a rectangle black marble base and it is signed by Carpeaux.
