Lecourtier. Prosper Lecourtier (1851 - 1924) was born in Meuse, France July 12thin 1851. He studied under the great sculptor Fremiet. Very little isknow about the personal life of this sculptor other than he had manyexhibits at the Salon, where he first exhibited in 1875 until hisdeath in 1924.
