With the grace of a goddess, she crosses leg over leg on the very tip of her toes as she comes from fifth position with open arms. She wears an elegant tutu with matching ballet slippers. Her hair is tied neatly up in a bun with a scrunchy which you can see around the bun. This young girl is lost in the moment and lets her ballet sweep her off her feet. Around the base of the sculpture you will notice a whimsical scroll that wraps around her feet and up her leg, almost as if she is dancing on a cloud. She has angelic little features and you can see the detail of her petit body. You can see her collar bone and her delicate little fingers. She dances with joy of an angel and feels like she is dancing on cloud in heaven. This delicate bronze sculpture was cast using the “Lost Wax Method” and has a brown patina. It is mounted on a black marble base and has the signature Milo.
