Condition Notes: This diamond, chrysoprase, emerald, and enamel brooch in the shape of a tiger is a testament to the enduring allure of the animal kingdom, reimagined through the lens of high jewelry craftsmanship, making it a fierce addition to any outfit, sure to make you the pride of the room. They are marked DAVID WEBB, WEBB 18K on the reverse of the mounting. Mounting tests 18k. The ring is marked 14K W and tests 14k. Metal shows numerous repairs and solder with some porosity. Chrysoprase cabochons measuring 10.00 x 5.00 mm. Emerald cabochons measure 2.55 mm, displaying natural inclusions with surface-reaching features, one having a chip. Some nicks and a chip are evident in the enamel. A double pinstem with a sliding trombone catch completes it. The ring in the tiger's mouth is a later addition, not from David Webb.
