Artist BiographyAfter graduating from the academy at Krosno Glassworks, Bronislaw Giefert worked for KHS. He later moved to Germany to work for Essner Glass Gallerie in Essen, followed by a 20 year tenure in the Borowski Glass Studio. He has collaborated with glass artists in both the US and Canada, gaining recognition and acclaim. To Giefert, "glass is a medium that people are fascinated by, no other material plays with light and color as well." Within this in mind, the artist has forged his unique sense of style with a beautiful and emotional connection to form. He is known for his avant-garde styling and use of brilliant color in his glass sculptures and is unmistakably unique.
